Hardware upgrades can be requested at any time during your service with Ubiquity.


Dedicated Server Hardware Upgrades

Dedicated server hardware can be upgraded at any time in the form of a request through our support center at https://support.ubiquityservers.com. Rates on add-on hardware can be found here:

Although almost all hardware add-ons to our current line-up of server hardware are kept well stocked, it's recommended to confirm the availability of the specific hardware requested before scheduling a maintenance window for the install. Ubiquity will schedule hardware upgrades on any dedicated server with advance notice during any timespan, with no cost to you


Colocation Hardware Upgrades

Provided you are not accessing the facility yourself to conduct the upgrade, you may arrange a colocation hardware upgrade via our staff at any time. To do this, please contact our support center as soon as you have tracking information for the shipment of add-on hardware. In the same manner we stress when mailing servers - this is very important in clearing the package with data center security and assuring that it gets setup quickly.

After the hardware has arrived, simply let us know when it would be convenient to install upgraded hardware (we can schedule this at any time given advance notice, so it can be planned and off of your server's peak hours). Basic hardware additions that do not require major reconfigurations to the system are generally subject a flat $37.50 half hour remote hands fee.
