Troubleshooting Packet Loss
From Ubiquity Server Wiki
Packet loss can occur for a variety of reasons. The best method in determining the cause of packetloss is in running a pathping to the destination, generally from a variety of sources if possible. This Windows utility functions exactly like a traceroute, only doing many traces, and showing us where the packet loss begins to occur amidst the route.
In the event that your pathping points to something other than a local computer, ISP, or to problems with your server that do not make themselves obvious, we encourage you to open a support request with our staff which includes your pathping, thus getting you past a first round of information gathering by our staff.
