Using SSH to manage your server

Generally speaking, Linux servers are managed via an SSH client. This is a very simple process.

  1. Download an SSH client like PuTTy.exe and run it
  2. Enter a usable IP address of your server, leave the default SSH port of 22 unless you've changed this
  3. Click Connect
